The Gala isn’t Innokin’s first foray into the world of convenience offered by pod kits, but it may well be its most stylish. The slim form-factor and pocket-friendly pen-style design is complemented by a sleek metallic satin finish and an eye-catching LED bar that glows with neon intensity. You can change the colour with three taps of the device and a quick shake to cycle through several vivid shades, or even select a constantly circulating lightshow – it’s a little nightclub in your pocket! Need something more discreet? Just turn the LED off. The LED strip also serves as a handy battery level indicator.
As a vape, however, all of Innokin’s hallmark care and attention to detail is evident in the Gala, delivering a supremely satisfying vape with every inhale-activated draw. That’s right: with no need to adjust buttons and levels, the Gala delivers a draw-activated vape that feels much like a cigarette, making it ideal for new vapers and recent ex-smokers. This is helped further with fixed wattage and a long-lasting 500mAh battery.
The Gala uses disposable 2ml pods which are simple to refill with your favourite e-liquid. Simply detach the pod from the battery, unplug the silicone seal on the bottom of the pod and top up the chamber with eliquid. Reseal, replace and you’re good to go.
The Gala offers a 0.8ohm and a 0.5ohm pod out of the box so that you can adapt the device to your vaping preference from the start. The 0.5ohm pod boasts great flavour and cloud production whereas the 0.8ohm pod suits more discreet cloud production without compromising on flavour. Both pods lend themselves well to high-PG (classic), nicotine salt and 50/50 e-liquids.
