While they share this solid core construction, their visual styles cater to different tastes. The standard XROS 6 features a crystal-clear TFT screen alongside refined metallic and silk finishes—perfect if you like immediate data feedback. On the flip side, the XROS 6 Mini embraces a more streamlined aesthetic. It uses a distinctive Tidal LED layout and comes in striking titanium and jelly finishes.
Battery Life and 3A Super-Fast Charging
The real headline for the new range is the massive upgrade in power reserves. We are looking at an 1800mAh battery in the standard XROS 6, and a very respectable 1600mAh cell in the Mini. For most of us, this provides substantial longevity, drastically reducing the need to hunt for a charging cable throughout the week.
When you do eventually need to plug in, the standard XROS 6 features 3A Fast Charging. It can reach full capacity in approximately 10 minutes, potentially providing up to five days of use for the average vaper*. It’s a genuinely impressive hardware leap that makes daily use incredibly reliable and straightforward.
Performance: COREX 3.0 Pods and Venturi Airflow
Inside the pods, Vaporesso has introduced their new COREX 3.0 coil pods. In practical terms, this technology ensures highly efficient, even heating, resulting in a rich, intense flavour profile that stays consistent from the first draw to the last. We are particularly fond of the new 60-second Smart Prime function—it effectively cuts down the wait time after filling a fresh pod, getting you up and running faster.
Airflow is managed by the new Venturi system. This precise slider lets you adjust your draw from a tight MTL to an airy RDTL easily. It ensures the device operates quietly and efficiently, giving you complete control over your inhale.
XROS 6 vs XROS 6 Mini: Choosing Your Interface
Because both devices share the exact same COREX 3.0 technology and Venturi airflow, deciding between the two really comes down to your personal interface preference.
The XROS 6 is built for those of us who prefer more granular control. The TFT screen lets you monitor battery life, puff count, and wattage at a glance. It also includes a firing button for manual activation and wattage adjustments. If you want to maximise the output of the 0.4ohm pod and tweak your settings, this is the ideal choice.
The XROS 6 Mini, however, is all about straightforward efficiency. It drops the screen and button in favour of a highly responsive auto-draw activation system. You get your battery feedback via the intuitive Tidal LED indicator. It’s the perfect option if you want a reliable, high-capacity device that just works seamlessly the moment you inhale, without any menu navigation.
Pod Compatibility and E-Liquid Options
One of the best things about the XROS ecosystem is Vaporesso’s commitment to cross-compatibility, and we're happy to report that both the XROS 6 and XROS 6 Mini accept the entire existing XROS pod family. Whether you prefer the latest Corex 3.0 versions or want to use up your stock of compatible COREX 2.0 Version Replacement Pods, the system accommodates them all seamlessly.
For the best experience, we recommend pairing the 0.6ohm and 0.8ohm pods with 50/50 VG/PG freebase e-liquids or Nicotine Salts. This combination reliably delivers a highly satisfying, consistent vape. If you are using the 0.4ohm pods, higher VG liquids will provide excellent vapour production alongside pronounced flavour.
