What are Vaping Modes?

One of the many joys of vaping is that the hobby can be as simple or as involved as you want it to be. For a quick and straightforward blast of flavour and nicotine relief, you could unwrap one of the best disposable vapes and simply puff away. For a bit more control and versatility, many of the best pod kits offer adjustable airflow control that lets you dial in for your perfect draw, while other more advanced vape kits and Box Mods come tricked out with every feature under the sun, providing near limitless ways to vape just the way you want to.

Many such features are categorised as ‘Modes’ and offer unique ways to personalise your vaping experience. Many kits will offer one or two basic modes, while more advanced vape kits could feature several. In this blog, we’ll break down the most common modes found on vaping devices and try to demystify what can be a confusing aspect of vaping for some, particularly newer vapers.

Variable Wattage Mode

The most commonly used mode, Variable Wattage (VW) allows you to adjust the power level of your device, typically measured in watts. By increasing or decreasing the wattage, you can control the intensity of your vape and the amount of vapour produced. Higher wattage often leads to denser clouds and richer flavour, but also consumes e-liquid and battery life faster.

How to Use: Simply navigate to the VW setting on your device's menu and use the +/- buttons to set your desired wattage level.

Temperature Control Mode

Bypass Mode

Wattage Curve Mode
