All e-liquids contain a combination of vegetable glycerin (VG) and propylene glycol (PG), plus nicotine and flavours. PG and VG are both common food-grade additives found in many household products and consumables, but each lends a different characteristic to eliquid. PG tends to enhance the flavour it carries and provides a more tangible throat sensation – called a ‘throat hit’. VG, on the other hand, is easier on the throat and provides the vapour when heated up by the coil in the vape device.
Previously, e-liquids came in
High-PG and
High-VG variations, which both have specific uses depending on the device and coils they’re used with. Now, with 50:50 e juices, vapers can enjoy eliquid with the great flavour and satisfaction of PG with the smoother throat sensation and rich clouds of VG.
