What are Pod Liq 60PG/40VG Shortfills and How to Use Them

An exciting new type of Shortfill has landed at Vapestore and Riot Squad’s 60VG/40PG Pod Liq’s series are leading the wave of these super-versatile E-liquids.

We, like many vapers, adore our Shortfill e-liquids. These long-lasting bottles of e-juice emerged as a way of providing vapers more of their favourite flavours by reducing the need to constantly replenish with traditional bottles of 10ml e-liquid.

They were a canny swerve around TPD regulations which limit the sale of e-liquids containing nicotine to 10mls – by supplying nicotine free e liquids in 50ml or 100ml bottles. Still TPD compliant, vapers could then adjust their shortfills’ nicotine strengths to their exact preference with the addition of 10ml Nicotine Shots.

Simple, genius, and effective, right? Absolutely, but for the longest time there has been a catch: Shortfills have traditionally only catered to sub-ohm vapers owing to the fact that they offered a ratio of 70%VG / 30%PG; a thicker, more viscous High-VG e-liquid best suited to powerful advanced vape kits and sub-ohm devices. Great for DTL (direct-to-lung) ‘cloud chasers’; less so for the many, many vapers that prefer pod kits,starter kits, and low-resistance coils for MTL (mouth-to-lung) vaping. 

The great news for them is that a new breed of shortfill has entered the scene, promising to make your fave flavours last longer while being able to use your Shortfills with an endless variety of MTL vape kits. Riot Squad's Pod Liq 60/40 collection have burst onto the scene, redefining the experience of Shortfill E-liquids. These vape liquids are a perfect match for an extensive range of vaping devices, especially those that favour higher-resistance coils and MTL vaping.

Every 120ml bottle comes generously filled with 80ml of exquisite flavour. Riot Squad have ensured that there's ample room left to add up to four 10ml freebase nicotine shots, allowing for a customisable nicotine strength that tops out at around 3 mg.

For those who prefer a balanced approach, adding approximately one and a half nicotine shots to the 120 ml bottle will give you 95 ml of e-liquid at a 3mg nicotine strength, resulting in a perfectly blended 50VG/50PG shortfill, with that perfect fusion of flavour, throat hit and vapour that makes 50/50 vape juice so popular for MTL vapers. And if you're looking to ramp up the nicotine, you have the option to introduce up to two more shots to suit your preference.

Each Riot Squad Pod Liq 60/40 Shortfill contains 80ml of 0mg 60PG/40VG E-liquid in a 120ml bottle and has space for 4 Nic shots.

  • Add 1.5 (15ml) 70/30 Nicotine Shots for 95ml of 3mg 50/50 E-liquid
  • Add 2 x 70/30 Nicotine Shots for 100ml of 3mg 50/50 E-liquid 
  • Add 4 x 70/30 Nicotine Shots for 120ml of 6mg 50/50 E-liquid 

Regular shortfills typically contain 50ml of liquid in a 60ml bottle, or 100ml of liquid in a 120ml bottle. So you can see that the extra space in a Pod Liq 60/40 bottle allows for even more customisation than ever, giving you the freedom to truly tailor your vape the way you want to.
